The Parliament supported draft law No. 3268 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Treatment of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)"
The new law provides for permission to import and use in Ukraine drugs that are not registered in the country, but are recommended for the treatment of COVID-19 by official bodies of the USA, EU, Great Britain, Switzerland, Australia, Israel, China, Canada and Japan.
In addition, the law allows the use of off-label drugs registered in Ukraine for the treatment of coronavirus disease. We are talking about those drugs that do not have indications for use in case of coronavirus infection in their registration documents and instructions, but have proven effectiveness in the treatment of coronavirus and / or have been recommended by official bodies of the USA, EU, Great Britain, Switzerland, Australia, Israel, China, Canada and Japan according to these indications.
312 deputies voted for the adoption of the draft law.
