Low-cost carrier Eurowings from Germany, which is part of the Lufthansa Group, opened the sale of tickets for the first flight to Ukraine - from Dusseldorf to Kyiv.
The airline plans to launch flights to Boryspil airport from September 1 with a frequency of three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Eurowings sells tickets starting at $49.99 one way for the Basic fare. It includes transportation of only one item of hand luggage. Its dimensions should not exceed 55x40x23 cm, and its weight should not exceed 8 kg. If the passenger takes heavier hand luggage with him, he will be charged a fine of $55 at the boarding gate.
Registration for a Eurowings flight must be done online. If you buy the cheapest ticket and register at the counter at the airport, it will cost $3-6.
