Ukraine and Turkey have reached an agreement on cooperation in the field of international transportation, in particular on the introduction of an electronic form of permits for transportation between countries.
According to Deputy Minister Serhiy Derkach from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, this unique project will allow carriers to do without paper documents, since all necessary data can be checked online.
During the meeting with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the parties also discussed the possibility of additional exchange of permits for non-scheduled transportation. Consultations on this issue will be held at the operational level.
The Turkish side expressed its readiness to share its experience in public-private partnership, in particular in such areas as road construction and service zones.
In addition, Turkey has offered support to Ukraine in training air navigation specialists to help them maintain their skills during the absence of air services.
