It is critically important to maintain the specified temperature range and product integrity during loading and unloading operations when ambient temperatures are low.
Our drivers always follow the procedures below:
✅ Verification that the vehicle is pre-conditioned to the required temperature range.
✅ Verification of proper operation of the refrigeration unit / insulated compartment and availability of a calibrated temperature data logger.
✅ Minimization of door-open time: confirmation that the shipment is ready before opening the cargo compartment.
✅ Prevention of direct contact between packages and cold surfaces, snow, or ice.
✅ Continuous temperature monitoring throughout the entire transportation process.
✅ In case of any temperature deviations — immediate notification of the operations manager and actions in accordance with the deviation management procedure.
✅ Prior to arrival, confirmation that the receiving party is ready for immediate acceptance of the shipment.
✅ Immediate transfer of the shipment into a temperature-controlled area upon arrival.
✅ Recording the time of unloading completion and stopping the temperature data logger.
